My Story: I'm from Skaneateles, NY (go Upstate!), I'm a Political Communication major at GWU, and I'm one of two publicity directors for our International Affairs Society (the best student org. on campus -- until Students for Richardson, GW Chapter is officially organized, of course). I worked on Governor Eliot Spitzer's campaign last year as the Central New York Volunteer Coordinator/Office Organizer at our office in Syracuse, and it was the best thing I've ever done and I miss it terribly. I think Governor Richardson should be our next president because (duh) he's the most qualified for the job, and he's humble, diplomatic, and honest. I think he WILL be our next president for all of those reasons, PLUS he's plain-spoken, funny, intelligent, viewed as a moderate, and can bring in a lot of supporters from swing states like Florida, New Mexico (duh), Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, and even Texas. And he's a thousand times more likely to to beat any Republican in the field than a lot of the other Democratic hopefuls out there -- including the "front-runners"! I'd like to win this time for God's sake!
