My Story: Environmentalist, art historian (though not tenure track), gay, in a relationship with Chinese person who I can only see when I get a tourist visa and money to go there, due to discriminatory immigrantion/visa/anti-gay policies of far right that they have made policy/law--they won't let him in, much less recognize our five-year relationship. Culturally, I'm an Anglo-American raised in the Upper South.
