I'm of course interested in healthcare and what is happening to both Medicare and Medicaid, but I'm also avidly involved in environmental issues. I like Bill for his stand on just about everything, including his caring more about domestic issues and not spending so much time on the Iraq War.

I suppose my motto would be "give folks a chance, instead of always trying to discount them". As a Christian (follower of Christ) I try to pattern my ways after Him but of course fall short. After all, He always did the right thing. I am a southern woman who cares about issues that affect all types of folks. As a healthcare provider, I have opportunity to see the problems that face our communities. Our elderly have to be cared for and our children have to be nurtured and educated. That should be our priority. Not fighting a war we have no chance of "winning". After all, who ever wins in a war situation? Also we need to care for the environment and not continue to destroy it. As our bodies are the temples that God dwells in, out world is where we reside. These are the issues that interest me the most, and I will work to make things better.
