My Story: This will be my first time voting! This time I decided I wanted to be heard and get involved so I did my homework on all the candidates. What really drew me to Gov. Richardson was his view on veterans. My uncle, a Vietnam Veteran, died recently when a lifeflight helicopter refused to transport him because he couldn't guarantee payment. He died from injuries suffered while fighting for our country and the government wouldn't even give him a helicopter ride.
