I was working for Bill Richardson in Sioux City, Iowa, when an anonymous swift boat type attack was launched against him in Mid-December. Some group stuck papers in the doors around the neighboring counties alleging that Bill Richardson was another Hugo Chavez and that he had masterminded a plot to take guns away from everyone. The claim was that, in New Mexico, he had engineered a diabolical scheme to take guns away from anyone arrested for DWI and that he had cops stationed outside of all the bars arresting people for DWI for the sole purpose of taking away their right to own a fire arm.

I did a google on the contents of the paper and it did not trace back to any known rightwing web site. Of course, when the results of the caucus were in, Obama had won all the counties surrounding Sioux City.

Under the old standard inquiry of Cicero: Qui Bono? (Who Benefits?), I have no choice but to blame Obama.

In my humble Opinion, Hillary Clinton should continue her campaign until the very end of the process. We don't know what else may turn up about Obama. We should have an alternative until the last minute. The Presidency of the most powerful county in the world is at stake. This is no time to be concerned about injured feelings.
