Vote for Bill anyway.

My plan is to write Bill in in my state's primary. That won't risk the presidency, because as Bill himself pointed out, all the other candidates in the Democratic field (at least the ones that have a chance at the nomination) are pretty solid now that they have adopted Bill's ideas. It won't matter to me which gets nominated now that Bill is out.

Whoever wins the Democratic Party nomination will recieve my vote in November.

My hope is that by convincing enough people to write him in in Primaries, we might actually get 1% for him somewhere, which wouldn't be a very good showing if he were still in the race, but getting 1% or better for a candidate who has already left the race would cause a media sensation and at very least get his name out there. I remain convinced that the reason he never gained momentum this time is because of a lack of name recognition because of an absence of media coverage.

great idea

that sounds like a great idea. I hope every state does and all the Richardson supporters all do that. We are not taking away from either candidate. All have adopted Bill's great ideas. But talk is no substitute for Bills wonderful record. Good for you and i will pass along your idea to everyone i know

Thank you for supporting this idea and passing it on. I will love to see the coverage when the pundits all go crazy trying to figure out how a write in candidate got so much support!

ditto

I had actually considered doing this in my own state of Mississippi. Being an independent, I feel no real party loyalty in the upcoming election.

But, one thing is for sure: whomever I vote for in the general election, it will be, at least in spirit, a vote for Bill Richardson.

Ya''at'eeh!
We are going a step further we are voting for him on primary and writing him in on the General Election. I ask you all to join us in our War Party Protest to the media and the treacherous agents from the money machines that helped bury Bill.
It will be a cold day in Hades when we jump Canoe and give our vote to a Hillary an Obama or an Edwards.
The only viable candidate was forced out by the traitors agents, securing the media in their pockets because they feared him. The Neocon Republicans want Hillary because she in reality is a Republican in Dem clothing.
Our votes from our coalitions are not under party line control, we will support Bill till we elect him in 2012. Join our War Party send a message to the media and the Republicans in Democratic Garb.
You are all welcome to jump into our canoe, may the Great Spirit Bless You All. T'a'a' iiyisi ahe'hee'
