I was a registered republican for 35 years..This past February I had enough. I went to the courthouse in Durango and changed my affiliation to democratic. I didn't leave the GOP, it left me, bruised and battered, in the ditch in a pool of blood. I felt as though a great weight had been lifted from me and I could breathe again. I didn't feel very good about the democratic presidential candidates until Bill Richardson entered the race. He has done great things for New Mexico as governor and I want him to continue by doing great things for America as president. He is the one of the few politicians I trust, such as Ben Campbell and Jim Dyer of Colorado.
