I had my first "real" encounter with my allies on the DC for Richardson team (y'all are great people...truly, you rock) and all I can say is....Yipee Skippeee......okay, I can say a helluva lot more than that, but you catch my drift.

I won't reveal trade secrets (as if there were any to reveal), but our group appears to have more political saavy than many of the volunteer/grassroot/campaign/toomuchtimeontheirhands groups I've encountered on other campaigns. The exchange of ideas was smooth and creative. I'm confident our presence will be seen, heard, felt and possibly even tasted in the District before the campaign ends [in victory].

To those of you who attended:
I noticed my comments about the Spanish-language site are officially null and void, since the site is obviously well developed. But, I'm still glad to have offered the cell phone minutes concept...I truly hope we can turn that into a full-fledged campaign initiative as it should help alleviate some of the backlog at the local campaign office.

To those of you who couldn't attend:
We missed you, but our group leaders are gonna have plenty of stuff for ya in the coming months...oh, and you missed out on getting an early bumper sticker
