Hello everyone,
Now that I have the moderator issue settled, I want to welcome you to the group. Thank you all for your fantastic enthusiasm and I look forward to working with all of you.

Here are some pressing issues I would like to address.
1) Many of you have expressed interest in tabling and after speaking with the campaign, they are working to create downloadable materials that anyone can have access to. For now, the best thing you can do is to go to the "issues" section on RichardsonForPresident.com and download and print out the issues briefs (hint: print double-sided). You are welcome to go out there and talk to the public about what a fantastic candidate Gov. Richardson is; just don't forget to smile! As a legal caution, we will not be able to collect donations but if anyone is interested, be sure to direct them to the website. I will provide further information about that if anything changes.

2) Bill Richardson will be on "Meet the Press" this Sunday so be sure to watch.

3) The second Democratic debate is on June 3rd. Please start planning your debate parties and post the events on our page. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce your friends to the Governor and compare him to the lesser candidates =)

4) Finally, I think it would be great if we all communicated more on the Blog rather than e-mail. I think some people are concerned that there is already too much e-mail. I will try not to e-mail everyone a lot but feel free to leave me messages about your fabulous ideas and questions. I will try as best as I can to be a liaison to the campaign and to connect the various California supporters.

Thanks again and happy campaigning!

Sincerely,

Christina

Christina, good to know there is an official site for the state. I just started a SF Bay Area chapter as the Northern CA chapter is up in Novato. Please let people know about my group. I will be planning a debate party here in SF and will post it tomorrow.I know California is crucial to the campaign.
Best, Lila

Christina,

Thank you for your suggestions and leadership. Let's have a photo of the Governor for the California group. If you wish, feel free to use one of the photos I took of the Governor at the California Democratic Convention in April. They are posted on the Yahoo group at Link or email me directly.

Hello Christina,
I'm also glad that there is a site for California. I suddenly feel as if we can make a difference since we changed the election law so our votes count for the primary. If anyone is intersted I also have started a Southern California group so we can organize more quickly. Please join me and the other Southern Californians in tabling and meeting to get our message out there.

Christina, I just got off the conference call and it was great! I hope you were on too. I sent a message to my group about what I learned. Hope you will post again as we haven't heard any thing for a long time. Hope you will have a local event soon.
Best, Lila
