We spent a couple of days before the NH primary, calling and waving signs, etc. What a great group to work with, Mike, Courtney, and the rest of the volunteers...

Sunday's meeting at Hanover HS with the Gov was great! He's inspiring with very specific ways to end the war, improve the environment, raise teachers salaries, end NCLB, remove Guantanamo, etc. not just grand verbiage as the other candidates blather on...

Now that he is heading to the more friendly west, I hope that the media will give him some real publicity about what he has actually done and what he proposes. I am sick about the lack of attention that the media has given him back here.

Even though the NH results are not as good as the staff had hoped for, there is now an awreness of who and what the Gov stands for, so let's help get the word out as the campaign gets out of New England.

Let's get the Gov on the Vermont primary! Signatures are due by 21 Jan, I believe...help!!!

Go Bill!

Welcome Home Governor!
By Unknown user Jan 9th 2008 at 12:13 am MST
I'm really proud of Governor Richardson and if I knew when he was getting in tonite and where, I'd go rally at the airport and welcome him home! And I am sure I would be joined there by many more home state supporters!

During the dark years of the Bush administration, it has been uplifting to live in New Mexico under Gov. Richarson's leadership. He has brought the film industry here, started an ambitious space program, started a light rail system as well as education and health insurance! These are good things for the economy and the people, and they are things that, as a citizen of Santa Fe, I can see in the people and situations around me, and take part in - not just hear talk about.

And he did it with such speed and rare opposition, which I think reflects his political skills and care about the people who live in this state.

Never have I cared to meet a politican at an airport late at night, but I would go tonite to WELCOME BILL HOME! I'm proud to have you as governor.
