Below is an update from our Richardson meeting that we had last week.

I wanted to thank you all for attending the Roundup for Richardson meeting last Wednesday in Harvard Square. We hope to make this a monthly event and please let me know of other venues that we can hold our meetings at. As we move into the Fall we can expect more and more people to attend our meetings so we will be looking at bigger venues.



Notes on the Meetings:

- Within the past month volunteers have been attending local democratic parties and helping out in NH, received updates on those events.
- Upcoming Mass. Democratic Party Events will be posted on the group page calendar to encourage volunteers and supporters to attend. We need to make an effort in attending this events which will help us target new supporters. List of events can be found at the Mass. Democratic State Party website.
- Need to make a push for local house parties and debate watch parties to attract new supporters. Create events that are topic orientated (i.e. Iraq, Health Care, Education, ...)
- Contacting NH communications staff to find ways how we can incorporate former State Senator Robert Wetmore in the local media market.
- We will designate one Saturday starting in September as a day we organize to get people up to NH to canvass. We will coordinate with the NH office
to make sure they expect us to attend. By designating a day it will help people plan their schedules as well as help with getting car pools up to NH.
