Howard County for Richardson
A group of Howard County, Maryland residents dedicated to electing Governor Richardson President. To win Maryland, you gotta win Howard County and we promise to deliver for the Governor!

Ya''at'eeh,
Will be voting for Bill in the primary and writing him in on the General Election.
Sending message to the media that helped bury the only viable choice we had for president. Beyond Bill there is nothing, my vote still goes for him, who ever wants to join the protest , welcome on my canoe.
Dine'

Post Data,
our voting block membership of the rank and file of Si Se Puede, Native American voting block rank and file along with diehard loyal supporters from this website will join the protest WAR PARTY, I look forward to the blessing from the GREAT Spirit it will come to pass that the nation will recieve a major surprize on primary election and even more on the General Election in November.
There will be many brothers and sisters from among all of Native America that will support our effort in conjunction with support of our Lakota Brothers whom have declared themselves a separate FREE LAKOTA NATION.
There are many Native American brothers and sisters that openly will say I follow Party Line Directive as proposed by the Tribal Leadership, and the Native American Caucass, However when in the polls the vote is done in secret and they will let their heart decide at the last moment.
Native America is and has been for GBR from the GET GO, and our hearts as a Nation of first people weigh heavy with sadness, because the press that was bought and paid for by the agents of the treacherous money machines forced Bill out of the race, by burying him in the press and major media on National TV, even the Latino Mexican Media sold out, over their money hunger.
With Bill dropping from the race the people from our coalitions in the western states where we were going to give them a run for their money, were short changed of the opprtunity.
Regardless, We will all make a statement in unison, we will be drafting Bill for prsident in 2012. There will be no stopping Bill then. San Diego Grass Roots will not cease to exist. We are now the movement in this county to Draft Bill for President in 2012.
can be reched at sandiegogrc4billrichardson@hotmail.com, and also at Party bloggers.org, under Draft Bill Richardson for President in 2012.
I also invite you to join a group in party bloggers called Berk County for Bill Richardson. Leader of group is Carol Wents, from the pensylvania for Richardson Group. All whom want to keep supporting Bill can also contact Her.

May the Great Spirit Bless you all.

My dear friends,

I cannot express to you just how proud I am of all your hard work in
Iowa. Because of your efforts Richardson turned out record support in
the caucuses. I know the media isn't covering this aspect, but the fact is that we exceeded our expectations in numbers of caucus goers, and were viable in nearly every precinct according to projected turnout, however, no one could have anticipated the flood of Obama supporters, and that skewed the viability numbers.

New Hampshire is not like Iowa. In New Hampshire it is one person, one vote, with no second counts and no realignments. So we have a great opportunity here to make a stand there. I have our calling tool up and running and we are ready to get in there and make our case.

Just click on this link, and as always I am here for you on my trusty cell phone!

Political Memo

Crisis Overseas Is Sudden Test for Candidates
From the New York Times

Jim Wilson/The New York Times

Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico after delivering a speech on Friday in Des Moines about foreign policy and Pakistan.

By PATRICK HEALY Published: December 29, 2007

"Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware and Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico, Democrats who have struggled to attract voters’ attention, edged into the spotlight on Friday after talking about Pakistan for weeks.

Mr. Biden tried to sound presidential as he expressed concern about loose nuclear weapons in Pakistan, and he also emphasized his foresight by noting that he had long called Pakistan “the most dangerous nation on the planet.”

Mr. Richardson, a former diplomat, made an effort to cast himself as a man of action, meanwhile, calling for President Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan to step down."

December 21, 2007 The Long Run Personal Touch for Richardson in Envoy Role By JODI KANTOR

In 1998, Bill Richardson, then the United States ambassador to the United Nations, flew to Japan in search of backing for potential military strikes in Iraq.

Landing in Tokyo, he asked how a previous session, conducted by his boss, Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright, had gone. Not well, Mr. Richardson learned. Dr. Albright’s Japanese counterpart requested permission to smoke, she lectured him on the dangers of tobacco, and things never improved from there.

So Mr. Richardson began his meeting with a question.

“Mind if I smoke?” he asked, pulling out the cigar he had tucked into his jacket a moment before. He left Japan with the assurances for which he had come.

Now Mr. Richardson, 60, is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, running not only on his years as an elected official — he was a congressman from New Mexico and is now governor — but also on his parallel career, as a self-appointed and official diplomat. He argues that no Democratic candidate has as much international experience and puts withdrawal from Iraq at the center of his pitch. A recent New York Times/CBS poll puts him a distant fourth in Iowa, New Hampshire and nationally, leading to speculation that he could end up as a vice-presidential nominee or in a cabinet post.

A kind of at-large dealmaker, Mr. Richardson does not specialize in any one region of the world, and he has no landmark achievement — no Dayton Accords or Middle East breakthrough — to his name. He is not associated with one school of foreign policy thinking or set of positions; in fact, he says he was wrong about the first invasion of Iraq (which he opposed), the second (which he supported), as well as the North American Free Trade Agreement, which he helped pass.

Instead, Mr. Richardson practices diplomacy as contact sport, whizzing from country to country, conflict to conflict, and charming, insulting, even touching his way through negotiations. (After he persuaded Saddam Hussein in 1995 to release two American aerospace workers who had wandered into Iraq, Mr. Richardson reached over to clap the dictator on the arm, causing Mr. Hussein’s men to reach for their guns.)

He is a singular creation: a governor whose mobile phone trills with calls from North Korean officials; a former United Nations ambassador who wore cowboy boots and told bawdy jokes; a negotiator who delivers tough messages cloaked in personal warmth; and a freelance troubleshooter who claims to have won release for Cuban political prisoners by needling Fidel Castro, in Spanish, first about his country’s baseball pitching and then ethnic solidarity.

“You gave Jesse Jackson a whole bunch, and you don’t want to give your Hispanic brother any?” Mr. Richardson said he asked Mr. Castro, describing the conversation in a recent interview.

He believes in the sheer value of bringing adversaries, no matter how unsavory, to the table, and in his own power to make deals when others have failed.

Glendening backs presidential candidate Richardson
December 13, 2007

Former Gov. Parris N. Glendening endorsed New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson for president yesterday, citing the fellow Democrat's commitment to environmental protection and fighting global climate change.

"As secretary of energy, he was a leader on mass transit and smart growth issues," Glendening said in a statement released by the Richardson campaign. "As governor of New Mexico, he has turned around an economy while also protecting the environment."

A former two-term Democratic governor, Glendening is best known as a champion of anti-sprawl development policies. Richardson said he welcomed the endorsement because Glendening is "a leader on energy and environmental issues."

Bill Richardson's comments get edited on this video that is on the cover of
http://talkingpointsmemo.com's posting by Ben Craw.

I am posting the original video from http://youtube.com below:

Ya''at'eeh!,
I have returned from my unplanned journey, For which I thank the Great Spirit. While away I was graced by the company of my ancestors. Governor Bill Richardson is still being guided by the spirit of the Great Eagle. What I speak can only be understood by my Native American brothers and sisters. He will soar very High despite strong currents, and has all the capability to become victorious, his goal will be hampered from within due to trecherous serpents in his path.

Pray the Great Spirit protect him from the forked tongue of those that only seek to demean the and belittle him while claiming their support for him.

To all my Native American Brothers and sisters I send a special Ahoa', I also invite all new comers from Native America to join me at Dine' Nishli Naakaii group.

May all on this site have merry upcoming Holy Days.
May the Great Spirit Bless The Governor and his family.
May the Great Spirit Bless You all.
Your sincere friend.
Dine' Humble Warrior.
Friends, greetings from snowy Iowa. Great news, Robert Becker, who serves as the Iowa State Director for our campaign, will be joining us on next week's call. I wanted to send everyone that signed up for the last call a short note asking each and every one of you to invite your family and friends to our next call which is scheduled for Wednesday December 12th at 9PM EST. It is extremely easy to do this. Simply pass along this link: http://action.richardsonforpresident.com/page/event/detail/wfz

Promoted by Joaquin

I am disappointed that the media has only focused its attention on the "front runner" candidate of both parties. The general public is missing an opportunity to learn more about other candidates' views, particularly those that are closely aligned with the majority of Americans. What the media continues to dish out is the same old evasive answers that are being promoted by the front-runners in their attempts to avoid controversy and "play the middle." Granted there are some "fringe" ideas being forwarded, but the media should provide near equal opportunity for Americans to learn about the views and plans of Presidential candidates. This is more important in the 2008 election cycle given the extremely expanded campaign season. The longer campaign should screams for the media to provide more information about many of the candidates instead of the same sound-bites from a few.

Case in point...Iraq and Governor Richardson.   Read More »
Ya''at'teeh!

I from time to time read up on religious materials, concepts and precepts on contemporary religion in the United States, for the purpose of trying to understand other people through their religious belief and practice.

Recently there was a big hoopdelah about the endorsements of Tele evangelist Pat Robertson for a particular candidate.
I believe that it is not only inmoral but should be constituted as illegal for any one that is in the God business in the mega million dollar income Racket to try and influence the outcome on an election.

I have read the Christian Bible and it makes it quite clear that Jesus settled the matter of the question that was thrown at him by Emperor's emissary in relation to the Gold Coin with the Emperor's effigy on it.
Jesus said point blank, Give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's and to God what is God's.
That in my eyes clears up the question about goverment and religion.
Atleast that is what is expected.
Furthermore I was under the impression that non for profit tax free orgs are not supposed to promote politics or politicians.
Yet the protestant Tele evangelists have done this from the get go.
I have not seen any Catholic Hierarchy doing the same, nor hierarchy from any other major religion doing the same, as a matter of fact when they have done in the past they were surely and very quickly stopped. There are laws on the books in many countries that prohibit this type of action, and yet in America it is only prohibited when it is anyone other than protestant.
I am of Shamanic Beliefs. I read from time to time religious litterature handed to me. What is preached and what is done are far to distant. I have read the Christian Bible. There are many things that enlighten, but the actions of the new age self proclaimed prophets of Christianity only turn people away. I am happy and live in peace with the teachings from my elders, I feel sorry for all of those cought up in the religious contradictions about, God, Goverment and Christianity. There are millions of sincere Christians
which are being taken for fools by the many con men which use the God Buissiness for profit.

Prophets for profit.
Yes indeed, money exchanging hands from politicians to the so called moral majority religious prophets go hand in hand. The reality is they are still cought up in their own greedy needs.Paying homage to their real God. Money and power. When the europeans arrived to the America's they worshipped the same God then they worship now.
The God Business is good, living lifestyles of kings, and the best of all is they can elect governors presidents, and it is all tax free. They answer to no one. Only to God, THEIR GOD MONEY, AND POWER.
I am still a savage in their eyes. It does not matter, I am a proud Native American. I would rather be considered a heathen, than to be cought up and exploited by prophets for profit.

THE LATTER INDIVIDUALS GIVE THE TRUE SINCERE CHRISTIANS A BAD IMAGE.
I HOPE I HAVE OFFENDED NO ONE. IT IS NOT MY INTENTION. I ONLY BRING THIS TO LIGHT BECAUSE NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE ABOUT IT AND MORE ATTENTION SHOULD BE BROUGHT UP ON THE MATTER.

T'A'A' IIYISI AHE'HEE
DINE' WARRIOR.
HA'GOO'NEE'

At Karen Green's request, I've set up a small East Bay Richardson store on CafePress with "Ask me about Bill Richardson" T-shirts for men and women. At our last Roundup Karen said that she wanted people to stop her and ask about the candidate. She also didn't want anything to turn people off, like a URL or pictures or affiliation. Just the invitation to get info.

Street work is so important for grassroots recruiting and education. These colorful shirts are better than buttons (at least in warm weather). Let me know how they work for you or if you want different text. $1 from each item will reimburse local photocopying, the rest goes to CafePress.
